13. How do I get from Panama City to Boquete? To get from Panama City to Boquete you may either take a one (1) hour flight into the city of David and then drive up to Boquete (a 35 minute drive) or you may drive all the way from the city. 14. What are the visa requirements to visit and reside in Panama? To visit Panama you are required to have a valid passport and entry visa if required for your country of citizenship. If you are a US or Canadian citizen, a $5.00 tourist card must be purchased prior to entering the country. The tourist card is valid for a 30-day period. These may be bought at airline counters in airports or at any port of entry. To find out more about tourist visa requirements please visit the Panamanian Institute of Tourism website. To retire in Panama a Pensionado (Retiree) visa or Self- Solvency Visa will be required. 15. What is the climate like in Boquete? Boquete is situated in a very privileged location in the Republic of Panama at an altitude of 3,600 ft. above sea level allowing it to enjoy a cool and comfortable climate. The temperature at Boquete oscilates between 700 F and 800 F all year round.
16. What language is spoken? Although the official language in the Republic of Panama is Spanish, English is widely spoken accross the country and in the town of Boquete. 17. When do we get title to our property at Boquete Country Club? Title to property is provided at Boquete Country Club as soon as full payment for a property is received. All home sites are fully titled.
